Park & Playground
Park & Playground
A new park and playground is proposed to the south of the site. Houses will face onto the park and playground to make these spaces feel safe at all times.
The public green space will:
Act as a landscaped buffer between new homesand adjoining sports pitches.
Provide an accessible shared amenity for informal recreation and relaxation.
Incorporate gently undulating landforms, open lawns and wildflower meadows to enhance biodiversity and seasonal interest.
Integrate a Local Equipped Area for Play (LEAP) using natural play features.
Benefit from strong natural surveillance, informal seating, and native planting to create a safe, welcoming and connected community space.
