Priest Hill, a connected site
The Opportunity
at Ewell East
This public engagement event has been organised to give local residents the opportunity to view early development proposals for the site at Priest Hill, and provide feedback to help inform the design process ahead of a future planning submission later in 2026.
The Priest Hill site has historically formed part of the wider family office property interests associated with Coldunell since 1992. It is now owned by The Priest Hill Land Company Limited, which is promoting the site through the planning process. The site is split into two parcels let on two long leaseholds. Each parcel is around ten acres in size.
Half of the land, situated to the north, is let to Old Suttonians Ltd and has not been used since 1999. The half to the south is let to Sutton and Epsom Rugby Football Club and is in active use.
The part being considered for this presentation is just the land let to Old Suttonians Ltd and is comprised of disused sports pitches and hardstanding. Sutton Grammar School and its alumni are beneficiaries of Old Suttonians, whose sports facilities are close by on Northey Avenue.
A proportion of the funds realised from the land will ultimately be invested in support of the Old Suttonians, namely the support of Sutton Grammar School and enhancing alumni opportunities.
